About Us
Sarah Post Associates consist of a qualified teacher and experienced therapist alongside a Speech Sound Technician and Speech and Language Therapy Assistant.
We have a wealth of experience of working with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs including speech sound difficulties, language impairment, stammer and social communication difficulties.

What We Offer

Assessment- Using current assessments the speech language and communication needs (SLCN) of children and young people can be accurately diagnosed.
Direct therapy- Assessing, diagnosing and working with children on a one to one basis. This is particularly valuable for children with speech sound difficulties who require specialist and specific intervention. Report writing- Accurate and timely evidence-based initial reports with standardised scoring and percentile ranking. Programmes of work- Clear and concise programmes of work for teachers and TA’s to follow with children independently and/or with the support of the SLT. Language Groups- Working with small groups of children on areas such as turn taking, eye contact, receptive/expressive language skills and social communication skills. Staff/TA training- Supporting staff in identifying SLCN in class and promoting strategies to enhance the school as a language rich learning environment. |
Our History |
Since qualifying in 2011 Sarah Post has worked with children in care for Kent County Council focussing on mainstream pupils in primary and secondary schools, and in special provision, supporting schools and working with children who have language difficulties and/or speech sound difficulties.
Due to an increase in demand and caseload, in 2015 Sarah formed Sarah Post Associates. This enabled her to increase her capacity for providing direct therapy Sarah and her team have also been providing support directly to schools within Medway Council and Kent County Council as a regular service along side working with private clients. Sarah is a registered member member of the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC), Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). |
